Norton Maza

Visual artist. Born in Lautaro, Chile, in 1971.
Since 1975 lives in France, where he remained until 1980, when he moved to Cuba. He joined the ENA National Art School where he graduated in 1989. Art continued higher education in the Fine Arts in Bordeaux, France.
In 1994 he returned to Chile where he continued his work.

Norton works through models somehow representing modern life situations, the use of photographic techniques and using classical pictorial compositions, the artist makes a keen observation of sociocultural contrasts, political, religious and ethical situations determined by globalization and the use of abuse and order.
He has conducted workshops in art biennials and universities in Canada and France in addition to numerous solo and group exhibitions.
